A little bit about how we came to be
Dagger was a beautiful Pittie mix and he was my whole heart.

He was from my daughters pittie girl Trigger, and the only survivor from the litter because of unknown circumstances and given to our youngest son a week before her marriage. We kinda snuck him in after a day of skipping school to get him before the hubby got home from work. There was nothing to worry about after all because hubby was on the floor crazy in love with him that same night.
Not long after our youngest left for college, Dagger would become my empty nest boy. Unfortunately cancer would come in to take him away and he would be the youngest victim our vet had ever seen. So at 4 years old and after 2 yrs of chemo our boy would say goodbye.
but right before he did
I would meet an incredible woman in my grief that would introduce me to the life of rescue and in trying to heal the hole in my heart I decided that I would foster as many lives as the years my precious Dagger lost.....
